The Tenuta Monaciano extends over hilly territory of approximately 235 hectares between 200 and 320 m above sea level; a rural landscape of woods, vineyards, olive groves, sown fields and a lake.
L’excellent soil exposure favours the production of oil, wheat, corn and sunflower, but above all wine.
The Estate is located in the historic Chianti Classico territorywhose boundaries were established in the 1716and joined the consortium in the 1934, two years after it was founded.
Ours vineyards extend for 60 hectares on the soft hills of the estate.
Among the grape varieties stands out the Sangiovesewhich accounts for at least 80% of Chianti Classico, and other red grape varieties including Merlot, Alicante Bouschet, Ciliegiolo And Colorful.
