The Reserve has a characteristic garnet red color conferred by the long period in the barrel. The nose unfolds pleasantly, offering notes of prune, leather and cloves. On the palate there are smoky and balsamic hints and a remarkable structure with smooth but enveloping tannins. The typical hardness of Sangiovese has been rounded off by ageing, which has given it a surprising aromatic complexity and excellent balance. It is advisable to let it breathe for a long time after uncorking and to pair it with game, red meats and mature cheeses.

On the label of the Reserve is reproduced in gold the facade of the Villa of Monaciano, centre and heart of the Estate, historical symbol of tradition and bond with the territory.
