Two ancient farm buildings have been converted into independent apartments. The larger building houses four apartments, two of which are on the ground floor. A one-time carriage house, with characteristic lofty arches, forms a wing of the main building and contains a fifth apartment. Yet another apartment, separate from the others, has been created from an old stone granary. The restoration, thoroughly meeting contemporary standards of comfort, faithfully reproduces original architectural features and uses materials typical of traditional Chianti farm buildings. A swimming pool for guests, measuring 9 X 4.5 mt. and open during the summer months, has been fashioned from what was once the estate’s fish pond. Set among fields and olive groves with vistas of the surrounding Chianti hills, the pool-side area inspires relaxation.
